Milab Visits Multiple Hong Kong Universities to Explore Collaboration Opportunities

From September 11 to 13, 2024, Professor Mi Haipeng and Professor Fu Xinyi led a delegation from Tsinghua University Future Lab to Hong Kong for extensive collaborative exchanges with research teams from several universities.

As a significant part of the 60th anniversary celebration of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, the research achievements of Tsinghua University Future Lab (Milab) team were showcased at the Global Design Innovation Research Exhibition. The exhibited works included:

• 3D Ink Brush Design Tool

• "Breath" Emotion Recognition Art Installation

During the event, lab members engaged in extensive discussions on teaching and research with Professor Henry Duh, Associate Dean of the School of Design at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The team also visited the Future (Care) Mobile Research Center, holding vibrant discussions with the center's researchers, laying a foundation for future scientific collaboration. Additionally, the team explored future developments in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) with Assistant Professor Junnan Yu.
